Her sound is contemplative and dreamy, with inspirations from Norah Jones, Billie Eilish, Sade, Tori Amos, Lana Del Rey, Melody Gardot, Stevie Nicks, Elle King, Julien Baker, Billie Holiday and Eva Cassidy.

It was recorded, mixed, mastered and produced by Lynn Peterson. (Mick Fleetwood, The Doobie Brothers, Don Felder, Melody Gardot, Billy Thorpe and many others).

The range of emotions she can articulate in a single song mirrors the emotional scope of the artist’s life, a contrasting medley of turmoil, peace, love, loss, grief and hope.

She has been featured at the Summer Meltdown and Lakedale Jazz Festival and has performed at acclaimed venues such as The Riverhorse,

O.P. Rockwell, McMillian’s dining room, Studio in the Clouds and many more.

As a child, Saranade was drawn to the creative arts. From the age of 4 she began painting, singing, playing the piano and making up songs.

Of particular importance to her as a child was her grandmother, Vera Lee Redd, who was a great source of inspiration and guidance. She would often put her hands on top of her granny Redd's and dream about playing the piano the way she did. Vera Lee Redd toured the country with the Mormon tabernacle choir and professionally taught music lessons. Saranade took weekly singing lessons, learned classical piano and often performed in church with her siblings and cousins.

Saranade began writing songs at age 13 and she now has a catalogue of over 33 songs. She often writes them in one sitting, drawing from poems and phrases she collects in her journals and notebooks.

After high school she moved to San Juan Island, Washington. While gaining popularity in the local music scene, Saranade landed a residency at McMillan's Dining room in the historic Roche Harbor Resort. The new gig not only allowed her to quit her day job, but also to continue to polish her performing and songwriting skills. Saranade put on shows in town to explore original material in front of new audiences.

When her interests turned to creating her own original music, she traveled to Maui, Hawaii to focus on writing music for a debut album with her dear friend Lynn Peterson. (Mick Fleetwood, The Doobie Brothers, Don Felder, Melody Gardot, Billy Thorpe and many others).

Over the years, Saranade has developed a distinct and dynamic artistic voice. One that can be heart breakingly intimate at one moment and overwhelmingley epic the next.
